Detailed Information:

More commonly this waterfall is known as Utigardsfossen. However, it appears this name is outdated and no longer in use. The height of the falls is often given as 1968 feet, which only accounts for the steepest part of the falls. The figure of 2685' includes the cascades from the terminus of the Ramnefjellsbreen Glacier, as well as any cascades below the main part of the falls. Pictures that were recently submitted to the WWD by Juha Asikainen have shown Ramnefjellsfossen to possess a much higher volume of water than we had previously suspected. This is indeed one of the best waterfalls in the world.
