Della Falls is widely thought of as the tallest waterfall in Canada. It may be the tallest officially measured waterfall in Canada, but by no means is it the tallest. It's not even the tallest waterfall on Vancouver Island. The falls are comprised of 3 approximately equal tiers, each a segmented waterfall. Della Falls has been widely known as being 1443 feet (440 meters) tall, however, we have it from a reliable source that it was recently re-measured and placed at 1578 feet (481 meters) tall. A definitive figure will have to wait until we can visit the falls in person.
