Yosemite Falls is widely known as the tallest waterfall in North America. This is, however, contingent on an accurate measurement of Washington State's Colonial Creek Falls, which could potentially stand a full 150 feet taller. Regardless, this is still a tourist magnet, one of the prime attractions in Yosemite National Park, as well as one of the most famous waterfalls on the planet. The falls consist of a 1430 foot plunge, then 675 feet of cascades and finishes off with a 320 foot horsetail. |
